Fidelia Fiske Collection- Thank you Rachel

Rachel Liptak, our graduate student intern from Simmons College finishes up her work on the collection today. She has spent 10 weeks looking at what turned out to be just over 1000 letters to, from, about Fidelia Fiske. Boston Univerisity School of Theology has a short but good biography of Fidelia on their History of Missiology  page. Rachel is leaving us with very interesting and valuable insight into “that box of letters” featured in articles in the Greenfield Recorder and the Shelburne Falls Independent recently.

Mount Holyoke College has Fidelia Fiske represented in their Archives and Special Collections Digital Collections    And a Finding Aid to the Mount Holyoke Collection of Fidelia Fiske papers can be viewed online through the Five College Archive and Manuscript Collection.

Thank you Rachel for all your hard work and thanks to Simmons College School of Library and Information Science  for their intern program.

We hope to see you again soon Rachel and good luck as you work on finishing your degree.
